The Blog Guild was invited to help celebrate the grand opening of the new Sprouts Farmers Market store located in Overland Park a few weeks back. The evening theme was fourth of July style. Through their membership with The Blog Guild, four members hosted a DIY table in the spirit of red white and blue!
Shanley Cox of Out to Eat shared with us how to infuse water for a refreshing summer treat. Aren't these jars with the star lids darling?
Angela Muir of Handmade in the Heartland had a delightful table full of granola, honey, and fresh berries from Sprouts to create your own parfait. The vanilla almond granola was my favorite.
Mandy Beyeler of Sugar Bee Crafts surprised us all with not only a fun DIY trail mix bar, but a little crafting as well. She painted all the jars red, white and blue and the attendees distressed their jars with light sandpaper rubbing. Cute!
Saving the sweets for last, Serena of Big Apple Nosh shared her talent with helping each attendee decorate their very own red velvet cupcake in festive frostings, sprinkles, and fresh berries from Sprouts!
It was a fun evening of crafting, nibbling, and enjoying the new Sprouts Farmers Market located on the corner of 95th and Nall. Have you been to the new store? Stop in and take a peek at the large selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and their bakery has the best pistachio muffins!
Thanks Sprouts Farmer Market for hosting The Blog Guild. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday with friends, family and plenty of sparkers!
